Aging in Place
Many of our clients have expressed a desire to remain in their home as long as possible. As their mobility and lifestyle needs and preferences change with age, we help them select appropriate features to make their home safe and comfortable. For example, clients who develop stiff joints or back problems may benefit by switching from a bath tub to a walk in soaker tub or even a low lip shower in some cases. We discuss the pros and cons of the different options and determine how the preferred option might be configured within the space available. Once a selection has been made, we then arrange for its installation. For viewers interested in learning more about aging in place and a more "user friendly" home, we discuss this in our Spring 2012 newsletter.
I really like the bathroom and it was nice working with you. Betty D.
When I moved into my “fixer upper” home in 2010 I followed the advice of my realtor and hired The Careful Remodelers, Inc. to take care of some necessary tasks. I had them back in March 2011 to remodel my bathroom. A load bearing wall was moved to accommodate a large soaker tub and to change a bedroom into a dining room. The work passed inspection. I am enjoying the larger bathroom. Kathy P.
We really enjoyed working with you and the whole team! It was definitely quick, efficient and careful! Gary & Caroline
Great job! No one would ever guess this use to be a closet. I love my new bathroom. (Photo with marble and pedestal sink in the arch, in 99 year old home) Martha M.
It’s always a pleasure working with the Careful remodeling crew on bathroom and kitchen projects. I have also had them over to my house to do some work (new floating floor, rebuild large deck, etc.) Peter and Dean have a wealth of remodeling experience and always show up when they say they will.
